Some basics

I realize I should probably inform everyone of some things. First of all, I go to a community theater, a Playhouse actually. It's one of the coolest locations you could imagine. It's an old church, so there's a graveyard out back that has some of the oldest graves in the area. Surrounding three sides of the building are these woods that go on for nearly a mile in every direction. Which is normally rather odd, seeing as how out of the way it all is.

Anyway, the show I'm doing right now is a fake radio show. What I mean by that is that myself and several other  actors will be sitting on a stage pretending to broadcast it. Commercials and all. I rather like this idea, as it emphasizes the emotions you need to use in your voice. I'll tell you the story of how I got my part later, but for now I'd just like to ask, does anyone know how to practice and obtain a good Irish accent? I have a talent for accents but my Irish just refuses to work.

So that's the basics. More to come.
Hobey ho.

And all the People merely players.

Hi there. I'm Faol. Basically just figured out how to make a blog. I'm making this to discuss some of my more theatrical endeavors, hence the name of the blog. Begging your indulgence, I'll be quoting a lot of Shakespeare. I find it enjoyable. I doubt I'll get many followers, but I'm mostly making this for myself anyway.

Well then, shall we go?
